Instruction of Khety to Merikare | Sages of Ancient Egypt "Instruction Addressed to King Merikare", or "The Teaching for King Merykara" is a literary composition dating back to (2025–1700 BC). It is attributed to the ancient Egyptian king named Kheti, addressing his son, the future king Merykara, and advising him on how to be a good king, and how to establish social justice.
